FIA issues final Belgian GP grid order after engine/gearbox penalties

Formula 1

The FIA has issued the definitive grid for Formula 1’s 2019 Belgian Grand Prix, following a spate of late engine and gearbox penalties being issued.

With seven drivers taking fresh engine parts over the Spa weekend, the final places on the grid have been decided by the various grid drops.

With Robert Kubica starting from the pitlane, it means that Antonio Giovinazzi (18th) and Daniil Kvyat (19th) will make up the final row of the grid.

The changes also mean that Williams’ George Russell moves up from the 19th slot he earned in qualifying to start 14th.
